He encourages Robert to try, which he reluctantly agrees, and she wakes up. Narissa, angered that her plan failed, transforms into a dragon to try and kill Giselle but instead catches Robert as he defends her.
With the help of Pip and Robert, Giselle helps the animal successfully let Narissa fall to her death and shares her second kiss with Robert. Prince Edward decides to give up on Giselle and soon falls in love with Robert's ex-girlfriend Nancy and vice versa, so he instead whisks her away to Andalasia and the two live happily ever after.
Giselle also lives happily ever after with Robert and Morgan, becoming part of their family and starting her own fashion line called "Andalasia Fashion". Thus, Giselle and her friend Pip has to solve some problems in Andalasia, like picking fruit, performing various tasks. In another part of the game, Prince Edward and Giselle helps the player.
Giselle is a little more carefree in the game than in the movie. She can stay in music stages and "sing", and after completing the song for a limited time you have a special power, and every dress that you create has its own special power.
You make all the dresses that Giselle wears in the movie. Furthermore, Giselle has many animal friends, which change in New York. A blue bird becomes a pigeon. Giselle is also sometimes taken to "travel" to imaginary Andalasia in her memoirs to help move the game along. Furthermore, Narissa constantly attacks her and Edward with sludge monsters and mushrooms.
Following the end of the film's initial theatrical run, however, Giselle was eventually removed from the parades because the character's dress restricted physical movement and was otherwise difficult to maintain.

Nevertheless, Giselle is determined to dance, sing, and flounce her way back to Edward. The beautiful princess Giselle is banished by an evil queen from her magical, musical animated land and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a "happily ever after" basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment.
But when Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer who has come to her aid—even though she is already promised to a perfect fairy tale prince back home—she has to wonder whether a storybook view of romance survive in the real world. About your interests, your likes your dislikes, you talk. Giselle : Oh, you have such strange ideas about love.
Robert : Maybe we should just do what you do. You meet, you have lunch, and you get married. Giselle : Oh, you forgot about happily ever after. Robert : Forget about happily ever after, it doesn't exist. Giselle : [smiles, realizes she wasn't paying attention to what he was singing]. Prince Edward : [prompting] Prince Edward Giselle : What's wrong? Prince Edward : You're not singing. Giselle : Oh.
Oh, no I'm not. Well, I was just thinking. Prince Edward : [perplexed] Think-ing? Giselle : I was just thinking. Prince Edward : Think-ing? Giselle : Before we leave, there's one thing I would love to do.
Prince Edward : Well, name it my love, and it is done. Giselle : I want to go on a date. Prince Edward : A date! Prince Edward : What's a date?
Giselle : Goodness, we sure had a lot of excitement tonight. Were you scared? Morgan Philip : A little bit, but do you think Pip will be ok? Giselle : Oh, well, I wouldn't worry about Pip. He is very brave. I remember this one time, when the poor wolf was being chased by Little Red Riding Hood around his grandmother's house, and she had an axe Morgan Philip : I don't really remember that version.
Giselle : Well, that's because Red tells it a little differently. Giselle : [after leaving the shower] Good morning, Robert. I hope you had wonderful dreams. Robert Philip : I think I'm still in one. Grumpy : Hey! Watch it, will ya?
Giselle : Grumpy! Grumpy : Geez, lady! Are you for real? Giselle : I-I think so. Robert : Now she thinks that you and I Giselle : Kissed? Robert : Yeah, something like that. Robert : So, what's the deal with this prince of yours? How long you been together? Giselle : [wistfully] Oh, about a day.
Robert : You mean it feels like a day because you're so in love. Giselle : No, it's been a day. Robert : You're kidding me. A day? One day? Giselle : Yes. Giselle : And tomorrow it will be two days. Robert : You're joking. Giselle : No. I'm not. Robert : Yeah, you are. Giselle : But I'm not. Soon, Giselle lost her grip on the branch. Pip tried to save her by hanging on to her toe but was unsuccessful and she tumbled through the trees to the ground below.
The next morning, Giselle arrived in a carriage at the castle, dressed in a beautiful wedding gown. As both Giselle and Nathaniel made their way through the garden, an old hag suddenly appeared, startling the princess-to-be. Giselle fell into some kind of interdimensional limbo, where she was transformed into live-action and teleported to the sewers of Manhattan, New York City. She tried to follow the disgruntled man through the thick crowd, but soon got lost in the subway tunnels.
Later that night, she appeared back above ground, in a new neighborhood. She approached a Homeless Old Man , hoping to receive a small bit of kindness, only for the man to steal her tiara and run away. Greatly upset, Giselle could only stand and watch the man retreat as it began to rain. After a little while wandering through the streets, Giselle came across a billboard with a castle on it.
Mistaking this for an actual castle, she climbed onto the billboard and pleaded to be let inside. Meanwhile, on the ground nearby, a taxi had stopped at the intersection. The girl ran out of the car and her father followed. The two both addressed Giselle and she was distracted enough that she lost her footing.
She stumbled, and was left dangling many feet above the ground, just like in Andalasia. When Giselle lost her grip, Robert tried to catch her, sending them both to the ground. Later, the three arrived at his apartment, where Giselle tried to explain what had happened to her. As Robert and Morgan argued about whether or not to let Giselle stay for the night, she had already fallen asleep on their couch. In the end, Robert gave in to sympathy and let Giselle stay.
The next morning, Giselle awoke to notice, for the first time, how messy the apartment was. As she was getting out, Robert, who had been awakened by Morgan to help clear out the animals, accidentally entered the room before Giselle was dressed.
Wrapped in a towel, she wondered aloud about the nature of the shower. As Robert started to wipe the bathroom floor, Giselle tried to again summon her new friends to do the work instead.
